Ingredients
  

  • ¾ pound Radishes ~1 bunch, trimmed and quartered
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 sprig Thyme leaves removed
  • ½ Lemon juiced (for serving)

  • Medium saucepan or sauté pan
  • Wooden spoon or silicone spatula

Method
 

Cook the Radishes
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine radishes, salt, and ⅓ cup water.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until radishes are fork-tender and water has evaporated, about 10 minutes.
Brown the Butter + Glaze
  1. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter, garlic, and thyme leaves.
  2. Toss radishes to coat as butter melts. Raise heat to medium and cook for 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally, until butter browns and radishes are golden and glazed.
Finish and Serve
  1. Transfer to a serving plate and squeeze lemon juice over the top. Serve warm.
