Ingredients

  • cups almond milk
  • 1 shot espresso cooled
  • 1 scoop Momentous protein powder
  • 5 g creatine monohydrate
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 banana frozen
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 1 pinch Maldon sea salt

Equipment

  • Blender
  • chilled glass

Method

  1. Add almond milk and cooled espresso to the blender.
  2. Add protein powder and creatine monohydrate directly into the liquid. Blend until completely smooth with no clumps.
  3. Add frozen banana and peanut butter.
  4. Blend until fully emulsified and glossy, with a thick but drinkable texture.
  5. Add kosher salt. Blend briefly and taste. If too thick, add a small splash of almond milk and pulse.
  6. Pour into a chilled glass.
  7. Finish with a light pinch of Maldon salt over the surface.

Notes

For seasoning, I always use Diamond Crystal kosher salt. If you use Morton, use half.
Storage: best enjoyed immediately after blending. If needed, keep refrigerated in a sealed jar for a few hours and shake well before drinking; it won't hold overnight.
