Method
Cook the Polenta
Bring water to a boil. Remove from heat.
Slowly whisk polenta into the water.
Cover with lid and allow to sit for 30 minutes.
Finish and Adjust
Stir in butter, cream, parmesan, and olive oil.
Cook on low for 15 minutes, stirring often.
Adjust consistency: cook longer if too thin, add water if too thick. Season to taste.
To Plate
Spoon polenta into shallow bowls or onto a platter.
Top with proteins or roasted vegetables as desired.
