A creamy, smoky cashew sauce that comes together in five minutes. Soaked cashews blended with smoked paprika, nutritional yeast, and warm spices create a dip that's rich, savory, and impossibly smooth.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¾ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • dash urfa chili
  • kosher salt to taste
  • warm water as needed

  • Measuring cups

Method
 

  1. Soak the cashews in hot water for 30 minutes, then drain.
  2. Add the drained cashews to a high-speed blender.
  3. Add the nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and chili powder.
  4. Pulse a few times to break down the cashews.
  5. With the blender running on low, slowly drizzle in warm water until you reach your desired consistency.
  6. Season with kosher salt and additional chili powder to taste.
  7. Add a dash of urfa chili for extra depth if desired.
  8. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with crudités, chips, or drizzle over your favorite dishes.
