This isn’t just Thousand Island. It’s your new go-to condiment. Fresh herbs, bright citrus, and creamy aioli give this sauce real backbone and versatility.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cornichons finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Chives finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dill finely chopped, optional
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 Lemon zested
  • 1 cup Aioli
  • 1 tablespoon Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Microplane or fine zester

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cornichons, parsley, chives, dill, and aioli. Mix until evenly distributed.
  2. Add Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir well to combine.
  3. Mix in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  4. Chill for 10–15 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

Storage: this is aioli-based, so keep it in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to a week. Stir before serving since the herbs and cornichons settle.
